Travel stopped. International arrivals declined dramatically, and the tourism industry entered a period of uncertainty.
For a company built around welcoming international travelers to Sri Lanka, this was one of the most challenging periods in our journey.
But the story did not end there.
We remained committed to our tourism work and prepared for the time when travelers would once again be able to discover Sri Lanka.
From 2022 onward, Sri Lanka’s tourism industry began rebuilding.
The return of international travelers brought new opportunities, but the recovery was gradual and challenging.
For Lanka Tour Host, this period became a time to rebuild our operations, reconnect with travelers and continue developing our services.
