Experience the ultimate Sri Lankan adventure. This tour takes you from the historic ramparts of a colonial fortress to the untamed wilderness where leopards roam. Perfect for solo travelers and photography enthusiasts, this journey captures the most iconic sights of the Southern Province.

Your private air-conditioned vehicle departs Colombo, heading south via the scenic Expressway.

Spend your morning exploring the best-preserved colonial sea fortress in South Asia. Walk the massive stone ramparts and admire the Dutch-colonial architecture.

A short drive to Koggala to witness the "Ritipanna" stilt fishermen—a sight unique to Sri Lanka’s southern coast.

Arrive at the gateway of the wild. Enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan lunch to fuel up for the adventure ahead.

Switch from your car to a rugged 4x4 Safari Jeep. Enter Yala National Park during the "Golden Hours" when wildlife is most active.

Bid farewell to the jungle, switch back to your comfortable private car, and begin the return journey.

Back to Colombo
Yes! While dawn is popular, the "Golden Hour" (from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM) is one of the best times for leopard sightings as they begin to move and hunt when the temperature drops. Our itinerary is specifically timed to ensure you are inside the park during this peak activity window.
It is a long day (roughly 15–16 hours), but it is very popular for those with limited time. We use the Southern Expressway to minimize travel time, and our private, air-conditioned vehicles ensure you can rest comfortably between the major stops like Galle and Yala.
We recommend lightweight, neutral-colored clothing (tan, olive, or grey) to blend into the wilderness during the safari. For Galle Fort, comfortable walking shoes and a sun hat are essential. Since it's an open-top jeep for the safari, a light scarf can help protect you from the dust on the trails.
Upon arriving at Tissamaharama, your private car driver will coordinate your meeting with a professional 4x4 Jeep driver. You will leave your main luggage (if any) safely in the car and transfer only what you need (camera, water, binoculars) into the rugged safari vehicle for the park entry.
Yes. We have hand-picked restaurants in Galle and Tissamaharama that maintain high hygiene standards and offer both Western and authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. For the return journey to Colombo, we can stop at authorized rest areas along the Highway for quick snacks or coffee.
